For over 20 years, I’ve worked in various healthcare roles, including as a nurse practitioner in community health, emergency care, and private practice. But in 2016, I realized that the traditional top-down models of healthcare were falling short. I saw the gaps firsthand—especially in underserved and rural communities—and I knew there had to be a better way. That’s when I developed my trademark grassroots system, “Nurse Practitioner on Wheels”, a mobile healthcare model that brought care directly to patients and bridged the divides in service delivery.

This approach became my foundation for what I now call the Community Health Transformation Model. It’s a proprietary, ground-up framework that empowers communities to co-create sustainable healthcare solutions tailored to their unique needs. This model is proven to work across diverse settings, from large urban clinics to small rural communities, and even in the most remote northern regions.

My driving passion is to help healthcare leaders, organizations, and communities transform their systems into ones that reflect the voices of the people they serve. Whether it’s guiding a team to integrate cultural respect into their practice or helping a community design a patient-centered health initiative, I am deeply committed to creating real, lasting change.

I know that grassroots transformation isn’t just a method—it’s a movement. And it’s one that I am eager to share. My hope is to inspire nurse practitioners, healthcare leaders, and decision-makers to embrace this approach and see how they, too, can create systems that are collaborative, inclusive, and truly effective.

Let’s build something incredible together. If you’re ready to transform your healthcare system from the ground up, I’d love to hear from you.
